Wadjet Egyptian Pendant in Sterling Silver
Pendant Approx: 40mm x 20mm.
Wadjet was an Ancient Egyptian Goddess, depicted as an Egyptian cobra or a woman with the head of a cobra. Protector & personification of Lower Egypt, Wadjet frequently appeared with her sister, Nekhbet (Vulture Goddess representing Upper Egypt). Together the ‘two ladies’ represented all of Egypt & symbolised the Pharoahs reign of its entirety. Wadjet protected Pharoahs, newborns & women in childbirth.
