Thoth was the Ancient Egyptian God of knowledge, wisdom, the moon, writing, hieroglyphics, science, magic, art, judgement & cosmic balance. He managed time, the calendar & was a record keeper, advisor & scribe for the Gods. Thoth recorded the judgement of souls & Weighing of the Heart ceremony that determined if a soul could move on to the underworld. He was depicted with the body of a man & head of an Ibis or as a baboon.
