The Seal of Solomon or Ring of Solomon is a signet ring reputed to have belonged to King Solomon of Israel, received from God in answer to his prayers. The Seal was said said to allow Solomon to command demons & spirits. The Seal of Solomon represents protection, magic, divine connection, spirit connection, cosmic connection, the elements, balance, harmony, wisdom, knowledge & magic.
The Seal is usually shown as a Hexagram/ Star of David (as in this ring) or pentagram/pentacle. These symbols have their own significance. The Star of David or Hexagram is a six pointed geometric star, created from two overlapping equilateral triangles. It is an ancient symbol, utilised by many cultures over time. The Star has been interpreted in a number of ways. It is a symbol of magic, protection against evil spirits, God’s protection, of Heaven & Earth of Judaism & Jewish identity.
