Bastet (Baast, Bast, Baset), was the ancient Egyptian Goddess of protection, pleasure, fertility & the home. She has been depicted in her earliest forms as a lioness or woman with the head of a lioness or as time progressed, a woman with the head of a cat or a slender cat in its entirety. She protected women, children, families & households. Bastet was connected with joy, music, dance, love, passion, women, cats & good health. She was known as a protector of the King & has been connected to both the sun and the moon at differing points in history.

The Eye of Ra, (symbol of a right eye) is an ancient Egyptian symbol associated with Ra, the Sun God. It symbolises power, protection, healing & light.

The Egyptian Ankh or Egyptian Cross is an ancient Egyptian symbol also referred to as the ‘Key of Life’. It symbolises eternal life, new life, fertility & protection.
