It represents the three phases of the divine feminine & the female life cycle, the Maiden, Mother & Crone. The symbol further represents the cycles of nature, feminine energy & feminine power.
Hecate (Hekate) is a powerful Greek Goddess known as the Goddess of Witchcraft. Hecate is further known to be a Goddess of magic, crossroads, the night, the moon, ghosts, protection from witchcraft & household protection. The symbol of Hecate’s Wheel was said to have been referred to as the ‘labyrinthine serpent’ in the 2nd Century text, The Chaldean Oracle. The symbol represents rebirth & renewal.
